All dogs are welcome, but the campsite asks if they can be kept on leads at all times and cleaned up after.
Although there is a firepit at the campsite, any further firepits and/or BBQ's should be at least 40cm off the ground. Heat shields can be provided by the campsite if necessary.
Cost: £60 per vehicle. Not charged per person so families welcome. Cost is inclusive of usual £5 booking fee and two nights camping.
Maximum of 12 vehicles.
Leaders will be a crucial part of the day being a success, so please volunteer if you have prior laning experience. All start and finish points for each lane will be given in W3W format in order to make it as simple as possible. A leader’s responsibility will be joining the dots and making sure the whole group has fun!
Please remember without volunteers to lead the groups we will have to reduce the number of bookings we can take.
In order to reduce the number of cars on a single lane, groups will be limited to maxium of four vehicles wherever possible.
As with any green laning event, it is advised to bring recovery equipment, maps, mobile phone, CB radio, food and drink and warm/waterproof clothing.
Due to the damage caused by weather and illegal off-piste driving, many lanes are starting to be restricted with TRO’s being in place. This is usually to allow for GLASS and local councils to manage the surface of lanes, however, recently a lot of lanes are remaining closed, or one-way. This makes it difficult to create flowing routes which maximise off-road driving. As a result, the planned lanes can change with weather conditions, and the need for localised marshalling may be required.
It is possible that some scratching of paintwork / damage may occur, particularly with larger vehicles.
Some vehicles with side steps fitted could possibly have ground clearance issues on certain lanes. If you have side steps fitted please let us know via the booking form.
Roof racks can be susceptible to catching on low branches
Please share any information about your vehicle via the booking form that would be beneficial to aid us in placing your vehicle on the correct routes.
The booking form has been designed to help us allocate vehicles onto suitable routes.
All vehicles must be taxed, mot'd, insured and in road worthy / safe condition.
Historic vehicles that are Mot and tax exempt are allowed
It is responsibility of the owner/ driver to ensure their vehicle is in road worthy condition and safe to be used for this event.
During the trip if you are unsure on how best to proceed on the current lane or not happy to proceed please inform your leader.
If during the event you need to leave please inform your route leader before leaving.
This event is planned, organised and run by volunteers who have given up their spare time to do so.
It is not possible for us to drive all the possible routes and lanes prior to the event, however they have been checked against trial wise for any restrictions.
The club, organisers and volunteers (leaders) will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs to vehicles during the event.
If you have booked on but can no longer attend please inform us as soon as possible.
